THE HAUTAPU CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Hautapu Rugby Football Club was held in the Hautapu Hall on Monday evening last, when Mr J. Bourke presided.over a fair attendance of players and supporters.' Annual Report. In the annual report the executive congratulated the club on the successful season just passed. Although the seniors at times were short of players they* again had the honour of winning the Championship Banner. The juniors were not quite so successful, but thanks were due to them for the keen interest displayed throughout the season, especially when it will be remembered that the seniors had to call on several of their players to make up the first fifteen. Congratulations were also extended to those players who gained representative honours, not only in the Cambridge team, but also with the Waikato touring team. The executive impressed on all members the importance of being punctual at all matches; not only for the benefit of the public, but also for other club members who endeavour to take the field at the appointed time. Balance Sheet. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £1 11/1. Election of Officers. Patrdn, Mr Wm. Thompson; president, Mr J. Bourke; vice-presidents, Messrs W. Cartmill, W. O. Cubis, F. Thomasson, W. R. Laurent, R. Burke, and S. Holmes; committee, the president, Messrs S. Smillie, A. Thompson, R. Hinton, W. Bourke, C. W. Hooker; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. Cubis; delegates to union, Messrs J. Bourke and H. Cubis; club captain, Mr A. Thompson. General. The union's insurance scheme was discussed. The members considered it should be made compulsory. It was decided to hold a dance at an early date. A vote of thanks was passed to all members, officers of the club, and all followers for their support during the past season. -
