ROMAN CATHOLIC SUPPORT. STATEMENT BY ARCHBISHOP. (By Telegraph — Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 26. The following statement from Archbishop Redwood has been made with reference to the obstetrical appeal:— "As head of the hierachy of' the Roman Catholic Church in New Zealand, I most gladly give forcible utterance to my personal approval and sincere hopes for the full success of the obstetrical endowment appeal, which is at present before the people of the Dominion. No endeavour can be too great to uphold and promote the sacred duty of motherhood."
