SPORTING AND DRAMATIC. The current issue of the ,’Sporting and Dramatic Review published to-day is sure to have a very wide appeal. All the many important sports fixtures of the past week are admirably recorded in the illustrated section. An excellent series depicting "Life on the lee Barrier with Bear Admiral Byrd’s South Polar Expedition," forms the centre pages. The match between the M.C.C. cricket team and an Auckland XI. is comprehensively pictured. Other interesting pages deal with the Taranaki and Wanganui Club's autumn meetings. Miscellaneous New Zealand pictures include successful contestants at the Wa-
nganui annual regatta, a quartette of Racing Club secretaries, and a portrait of Miss Fay Taylour, the champion lady cinder track rider.
