James; Misses H. Robson, A. Levesque, Mrs Clothier, Miss E. Price, Mrs G. Williams and Miss E. Lynds. St. Paul’s B Team. The team to represent St. Paul’s against Hautapu on Saturday will be selected from the following: —Misses E. Wood, EL Parker, Z. Easter, Mrs Easter, Misses H. Baird, N. Easter, M. Jenkin; Messrs Kceley, Symonds, Easter, K. Hooker, F. Parker, L. Bycroft and J. Parker. Hautapu B Team. The following have been chosen to play against St. Paul’s at St. Paul’s courts on Saturday:—Messrs J. Sullivan, O. Hooker, W. Cubis, A. Wiseman, B. Cubis, T. Russell; Mrs Russell, Miss E. Watt, Miss A. Millar. Mrs C. W. Hooker, Miss F. Bourke, Miss McLeod. Members are asked to notify the committee if unable to play. don Petersen, 13 years old, set a light to what he thought was a "Roman candle.” It proved to be a “bomb,” and it exploded and blew off four fingers of his left hand and injured his left eye seriously. He also received scalp wounds. He is now in hospital. A Press Association message from Taihape states that a Maori known as Stone lost two fingers through a premature explosion.
