ROSE SHOW

NEXT WEEK'S FIXTURE. MUCH INTEREST SHOWN. There are indications that the forthcoming Cambridge Rose Show, to be held on Friday of next week, 15th inst., will prove the best held for many years. Yielding to representations made in the past, the date has been put earlier than usual, with the object of meeting rose glowers. The date arranged for this year should suit the great bulk of rose growers, and make for better compcti* tion. It is pleasing to know that enquiries are coming in from outside districts, and there is likely to be a number of entries from horticultural enthusiasts outside of Cambridge. This should add to the interest in the show. Those who have not not received a copy of the schedule may secure same, gratis, on application to Rev. C. W. Clark, manager and secretary. The judges for the show are: Rose and cut flowers, Mr Lippiatt, of Auckland; decorations, "Mrs Tudhope, of Hamilton.
