ANNUAL REUNION.
INTERESTING GATHERING.
The annual reunion of the Waikatpy Early Settlers’ Association was held in < Hamilton yesterday, when about 60 oldfjS
residents of Hamilton and surrounding districts assembled at a dinner in the Winter Show Hall. The oldest settler present was Mr G. E. Clark, of Cam- > bridge, who is nearly 89, while Mr P. Crosby ..was the oldest Waikato-born resident present. He was born in Hamilton 65 years ago.
The Cambridge district was well represented at the gathering, among those present being Messrs G. Clark, A. W. Gane, J. S. Fisher, Eobt, Webber, Butler, Miss Bright. The recounting of interesting reminiscences of the very early days proved most interesting.
The chair was occupied by Mr D. Stewart Reid, while Sir Frederick Lang and Mr H. Alex. Young, M.P., wer* among the guests.
