OBITUARY

V MRS. EVA MAY IrANGE. Quito a gloom was cast over Cambridge and district yesterday, when it became known that Mrs.; Eva May Lange, wife of Mr. C. F. Lange, of this town, had passed away. ( . Mrs. Lange tpqh; ill a few weeks ago.' After a- few days in bed she got about again, but had a relapse, and pneumonia sot. in, For many days she lay at death's door, and ultimately succumbed yesterday. Of a most lovable, kindly, genial and optimistic disposition, radiating sunshine and happiness wherever she went, Mrs. Lange had hosts of friends, and was a warm favourite with all. She was always doing good, ans Cambridge is the poorer through her loss. . Mrs. Lange was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. Isaac Clark, a very wellknown Wellington resident. She was born ip Wellington, and lived there until her marriage some 24 years ago, after which she resided at Thames. Eight years ago Mr. and Mrs. Longe took up, residence in Cambxidge, and have beqn here over since. Mrs. Lango was a keen worked for any good'object. A most active member of the Methodist Church, she rendered splendid service as president of the Ladies' Guild, vice-president of the Young Women's Bible Class, organist and choir| member for a considerable time, and jin other branches of church work. i . The deepest sympathy is felt with Mr. Lang|> in his great, loss. Mrs. Lange's mother and father both died in 1927, an| a sister, Mrs. Nielsen, died a few years ago. She is survived by one sister-'(Miss Clark, of Wellington) arid thre<|brothers, Messrs.
