THE WAIRAKAU CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of tho Wairakau Golf Club was hold on Tuesday night in the Maungatautari Hall, when Mr Geo. Middleton presided over a largo attendance. Tho report on tho past season’s activities showed that enthusiasm in golf was increasing. The balance shoot showed a good credit balance. Tho prospects for the coming season’s play aro better than ovor. Election of Officers. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr G. Middleton; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Scott, E. J. Peake and K. Kirkby; committee, Messrs T. Hill, La Trobc, Aricll, C. Pealto, Garland;. secretary and treasurer, Mr L. J. Nobbs.
