'The balance sheet presented showed that the year had commenced with a credit of £7 13/8 and ended with a licit of £2 13/10. The secretary stated that only four •seniors and six juniors had' paid their a list season’s subscriptions. The funds .from this source ohly amounted to £1 35/, He had notified all players, but ri.here had been practically ho response. Jin effort should be made to sod that every- player was financial before tak,'i»g part in competitions this season, i Mr Howell drew attention to the account of £5 3/6 for jerseys. He thought that players should provide’ their own jerseys. ' ' / There was a general discussion on, the issue of jerseys to players. Mr Montgomery » said he had been ■connected with football for the past 30 years, and it was the first time he had lu'ard of senior players being provided jpdth jerseys. ,On the motion of Messrs W. Webber laid Montgomery it was resolved that in future the club only purchase jerseys to '■replace those damaged In matches/and that the club take possession • of torn jerseys. The secretary pointed out v that an uiem on tho balance sheet of £1 2/6 for engraving a cup was a debt of the ion.Subject to the deletion of this aceount, the balance sheet was adopted. Grading. , Mr Webber brought up the matter of grading of players and thought. that it should receive more careful attention ibis season. After further discussion it was resolved that it bo a recommendation to the union that a system of grading by ■jibe clubs be set up for the forthcoming season. General. :- It was agreed that the colours be the DU.nffe.as previously, viz., blue and blaek. The subscription fees, were , decided upon as follows:--Seniors. 5/, ! juniors .2/6, third-grade 1/6. A further recommendation to the unSon was made that greater support be recorded the referees in carrying out duties. i • 'at /was decided to place three grades •in' tiilt union’s competitions. The secretary was instructed to write Arapiini Club inviting them to visit Cambridge and play a match against the club on April 9tli. It was arranged.for intending members to hand in their' names to the secretary at Mr T. H. Hall’s office, Lake street, or to the club captain, F■Cl'.* eon. THE KAEAPEBO CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Karapiro Football Club was held on Tuesday ■evening when the president/; Mr N. Garland, presided over an attendance •of about 20 players and supporters. The annual report dealt fully, with the past season’s operations, while the 'balance C sheet showed that the year commenced with a, credit balance of £lO 7/10 and concluded with a credit of £9 19/6.
