In the filming of "To the Last Man" —a Zane Groy production to be shown. to-night—an exact reproduction of a pioneer settlement in tho rugged mountains of Arizona was mado in the Tonto Basin. On this trip into the wilds, the scenery earpenters were left behind, and a group of axemen enlisted vrho could hew real logs rather than juggle paper mae.ho. A reproduction of a settlement consisting of twelve dwollings, the lower stories of which were built of stone, was made. Logs were used and also rough-hewn board to complete tho buildings. Victor Fleming dirocted the picture for Paramount and the featured players are Richards Dix and Lois Wilson, with Noah Berry, Robert Edeson and FTank Campoau in support. Tho story is that of a feud fought, out literally to the last man. It was, adapted from a novel by Zane Grey.
