HAMILTON POLLS
SEWERAGE AND STREET LOANS CARRIED. FIVE OTHERS LOST, ; A poll of ratepayers was held in Hamilton on Thursday in connection with six loan proposals aggregating £190,950. The street and sewerage loans were carried and the remainder were defeated. Exceptionally kcon interest was taken in the poll, noarly 1500 of 4600 ratepayers on the roll recording their votes.
