Mi' and Mrs J. S. Dodds, of Akaron Canterbury, are on a visit to Cam bridge, staying with relatives.
Mr R. J. McNnmara, at one time on the staff at; the local Post Office, and now stationed at 'Wanganui, ie* spending the week-end in Cambridge.
A London cablegram states that Mr W. F. Massoy, at an audience with the King, personally offered His Majesty loyal greetings from Cook Islanders and Samoa ns, as requested by them during Mr Massey 's Homeward voyage.
Mr Lloyd George is meeting with great receptions in Canada. He will proceed to Winnipeg next week, after resting at Niagara Falls: Mr 11. S. N. Bruce, Australian representative at the Imperial Conference, has been baiiquetted by the Master and Fellows of Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
The appointment of Mr A. D. Park (Acting Secretary for Marine), as assistant Public Service Commissioner is definitely announced.—Press Association telegram received this morning.
