As a local .resident was driving across the Patea Bridge to the railway station (says the Press), a starling
flying overhead dropped an egg which fell on the shirt front of the driver, covering it and his waistcoat with the yolk, etc. The surprise of the resident at tho unexpected occurrence can bo imagined.
