ORANGE LODGE
INVESTITURE OF OFFICERS The investiture of officers of the Cambridge L.O.L. 79, and L.L.O.L. No. i>7, took place ou Tuesday evening last, the Installing Master being R.W.G.D.. Master Major McDonald Johnston, and the Presenting Officer was Wor. Bro. Smith, and Installing. Deacons Bros. James and Bath of No. SI Hamilton. Visitors were present from Nos. 81 and 29 Hamilton, and 90 Ngaruaivahia. The officers for the ensuing year were: — M.M., Sis. Coojjer; D.M., Sis. Simpson; M. of C., ,Sis. Leaning; 1.P.M., Sis. Goodwin; Chaplain, Sis. Ching, senr.; Secretary, Sis.'A. C. Davies; Treasurer, Sis. Read; Forf Corn., Sis. Jamieson, senr.; Dea., Sis. Warrington; Jnr. Den., Sis. Davies; Jnr. Guard, Sis. Ching; Committee, Sisters Jamieson, Bowles, Coe and Denton; Instructor, Bro. Geo. Read, P.M. For the men: W.M., Bro. Cooper, D.M., Bro. F. Turner; M. of C., Bro. T. Vanes; J.P.M., Bro. D. Davies; Chap., Bro. D. Ellison; Sec., Bro. A. Jamieson; Trcas., Bro. W. Hogan; F. of 0., Bro. W. Richmond; Sen. Deacon, Bro. J. Chambers, junr., Bro. A. Denton; Inner Guard, Bro. J. Steenson; Outer, Bro. J. King; Committee, Bros. W. Vants, K. G. Hastie. The I.P.M.G. congratulated the lodge on the selection of officers for the term, and on their advancement, and thanked the outgoing officers on behalf of the Grand Executive. He presented Wor. Bro. Davies with a framed certificate on behalf of No. 79. Bro. Davies in a brief speech, thanked the lodge. Altogether a pleasant and instructive evening was spent.
