ELECTION OF DIRECTORS MR S. LYE AT KARAPIBO V On Tuesday evening, Mr S. Lye, who is a candidate for the south-east ward for the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd.’s directorate, addressed a meeting of suppliers at. Karapiro, in the school. There was a good attendance, of suppliers, presided over by Mr J. P. Keeley. The speaker dealt with the co-op-erative movement, pointing out the disadvantages of a proprietary concern. He outlined some reforms which ho would make in the Company’s management ,if elected. Mr Lye also answered all questions satisfactorily. At -the close of the. meeting, the speaker was heartily thanked for placing his views before the suppliers.
