WEDDING BELLS
RUSSO—WALKER The marriage of two well-known and high-esteemed young residents of the district was celebrated at St. Andrew's Church, Cambridge, yesterday afternoon, when Miss Margaret Annie, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Walker, of Karapiro, was wedded to Mr Cesari, second son of Mr and Mrs B. Russo, "Trelawney," Roto-o-rangi. Tho bride was attired in a beautiful and most becoming frock of silk and georgette, trimmed- with silver beads and orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of jonquils and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid (Miss Edna Walker, sister of the bride) wore a pretty pale pink voile frock, with satin sash, while her bouquet was composed of snowdrops, camellias and asparagus. Little Miss Madeline Russo, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as, flower-girl. She wore a dainty white voile frock, relieved with pink, and carried a basket of white and pink camellias. Mr A. Russo, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mortimer Jones.' The bridegroom's- present-to the bride was a cheque, and to the ».bridpsrqaidsi gold and silver broeehes.
The wedding breakfast, was held at the Oddfellows' Hall, where a large number of guests assembed. A social and dance also followed in the evening. -, When the happy couple west away for the honeymoon, the bride was wearing a travelling costume of fine navy blue serge, trimmed with braid, with a smart black hatters-plush hat.
