DRAWS FORTH A PROTEST. London, January 12. Addressing a meeting at Dublin inviting the Lord Mayor to hold an independent inquiry into the conduct of the police, Mr J. Larkin described the British flag as f Jirty one, covering more disease f.nd degradation than any he knew. Captain White, son of the hero of Ladysmith. strongly protested at these remarks, and withurew.
