Received 9.20 a.m., 12th. Sydney, January 12. As a result of the intense heat, Mr Kershaw, a Justice of the Peace, at Milparinka, was taken ill, and as fresh water was needed his daughter rode 26 miles to procure some. She had almost reached home when she was struck down by sunstroke and died.
