THE WINTER SHOW.
To the Editor
Sir, Kindly allow me a little space to pass a few comments on one or two things about the t\ inter Show not about the show itself, which. 1 think, is one of the best ever held hut to do with the management. In the first place, who was responsible for placing the ticket offices in such absurd positions, and why were there not more of them to cope with the rush that was bound to ensue on the opening day? It would not have been So had if one could have passed freely round the obstruction in the shape of a llagstalf placed near the box. Would it not be belter for the committee to have self-registering turnstiles and do away with the issuing of tickets? Another observation why was not a week selected for holding the show when there is moonlight, giving country people a belter chance of attending? Apart from the show, why do the council have the roads under repair at show time? I am, etc,, OBSERVER.
