NURSEMAID'S SUICIDE.
A coroner’s jury at. Westminster on April 21st returned a verdict of suicide while of unsound mind in respect of the death of Florence Saunders, 21, a nnr-emaiil, lately employed by Mrs Dora Frishy, of Portland street, W., and said this condition had been brought on by the treatment accorded to her by her mistress. Tim girl, after being missing for a fortnight. was found drowned in the Thames on Saturday. A sister .stall d that three weeks ago Florence told her she had been com pelted to leave her situation owing to the treatment she received from her mistress, and she was greatly ilepres <d. Kale (1 iddanl, a lorim r cook at the same hon-e. said the mistress bullied and swore at Florence Saunders, and also accused her of stealing half a sovereign, which the witness subsequently found, Mrs Frishy guv- evidence. She de ied that she made the alleged accusation. Answering the foreman, she said she had had several changes of servants during the past year. Tiie jury added to their verdict that the mistress was deserving ~f great censure, and expressed disapproval of the behaviour of Mrs Frishy in court and in the witness box
