The secretary had received a letter from the Minister of the Interior relative to the commission it is proposed to set up, and asking the board to define the points in dispute between the Pukekura Road Board and the Leamington Town Board. The secretary had replied that the points in dispute were:—l. The boards' proportion of the loan of £3OOO borrowed in connection with the new high level bridge connecting the township with the Borough of Cambridge. 2. Assessing the area of gravel pits to be allowed each board. A letter was received from the town clerk Cambridge relative to the cost of erection and lighting the gaa lamps on the high level bridge. Reference was also made in the letter to the adverse attitude taken up by several of the contributing bodies.
