The average test was 3.955, and the amount paid to suppliers, inclusive of the |d bonus, £2770 11s 6d. Tenpence per lb was the average price paid for butter fat for the season. Mr Ambury said that 9d per lb in advance with a probable bonus would be the price next season, and lOd would bo paid for August. He said that owing largely to the increased productiveness of Australia and the Argentine the butter market was depressed. The suppliers were unanimous in their expression of satisfaction with the firm, and complimented Mr Blacklock on his painstaking and courteous management. Mr Ambury said that the manager would, with a view to assisting suppliers in the careful selection of their herds, test samples free. In reply to a question Mr Ambury said that after a considerable experience with the Babcock test he had every confidence in it. Mr Washer, who was the chief promoter of the creamery, was thanked by those present, and the meeting terminated with three vociferous cheers for Mr Ambury.
