Theiu; was a good muster on the Hamilton golf links on Saturday for the foursome handicap, 28 players taking part. The weather was good, and after a well-played round Mrs Ross and Mr llurdwood secured first place with a net score of 96 (112 less 16), Mrs Valdor and Mr Bell coming second with 105 (113 less 8), In the singles handicap, finished last week. Miss Webber, with a handicap of 8, defeated Miss Earrer and won the ladies’ prize, and Mr Worsloy won the gentlemen's prize. The prizes, consisting of two drivers, were kindly presented by Mr Hood, the professional in Auckland. The next match is a “ bogey ” handicap, which may be played off either on Wednesday, tho 13th, or Saturday, the 16th. Those who have not yet entered but wish to do so are requested to notify the secretary before Tuesday night.
