SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETINGS.

PATERANGI. At the annual meeting of householders held here on Monday last the following were elected a committee for the onsuing year: —C. S. McCallum (Chairman), and Messrs Finch, Sing, Webb and R. McNaul. The outgoing committeo reported that the Board of Education granted £3 for repairs to school officca. The attendance was fairly good aud ia increasing. Owing to ill-health our late teacher (Miss Davis) was obliged to resign, and Miss Bright was appointed instead. The Piterangi bohool has been fortunate iu the choice of their teachers.—(Own Correspondent.)
