A CURIOUS LICENSING COMPLICATION.
(by telegraph.—press association). Hawera, Last Night. A curious complication is reported from Manaia. The Town Board clerk is absent at Wellington, and the publicans being unable to get their licenses for the year (commencing to-day) have had to close.
