CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD.

In our hurried report of the meeting of the above Board, held on Monday last, which had not terminated at the time the telegraph office closed, we had not time to give details of the business. — The Chairman remarked that Mr Purdie had not sent any testimonials with his application, but they were not necessary, as the good work he had done during the past two years spoke for him. All things being equal, he should give the preference to Mr Purdie, the difference between his tender and Mr Langmuir's was so great that they could not pass it.—The other members all agreed that Mr Purdie had done excellent work, and it was with regret they parted with him.
