CRETAN CRISIS.

London, March 25. Admiral Sir Augustus Piulumohe, who retired from active service some years ago, declares it illegal to blockade British traders iu Crete before war was declared. Athens, March 25, The Czar has donated COOO roubles, and the Pope 10,000 francs to the Cretan refugees. The Turks made another attempt to convey provisions to the besieged in Fort Malaxa. The insurgents prevented this, and pursued the convoys as far as Suda. The gunboats then shelled the insurgents, and compelled them to retreat. An Austrian ironclad stopped a Greek steamer and sailing vessel which wero attempting to run the blockade. The insurgents have surrounded the Moslems at Sitia, and are attempting to starve the garrison into submission. The Greek Court newspaper states that the Powers have stopped friendly parleying with Turkey.
