WAIKATO LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The members of the above Committee met at Cambridge on Thursday, when there were present : Captain Jackson, S.M. (chairman), Messrs White, Chepmell, Coatea, Forrest and Bond. The only.business was the transfer of the Club Hotel at Huntly from Alex. Schulte to Jas. Montgomery. Mr O'Neill appeared for Mr Montgomery, and everything being favourable the transfer was duly granted. The Chairman then referred to that being their last meeting, *ud said their gatherings hail always been of a pleasant and friendly character.
