THE MOTUIHI ESCAPE

FURTHER COURT OF INQUIRY. The further inquiry into the action of Lieutenant-Colonel Patterson and Major Osborne Lilly in connection with the escape of the Germans from Motuihi will be made by Colonel Porter, camp commandant at Trentham (chairman), Lieutenant-Colonel Fletcher, of the Expeditionary Forces, returned from active service, and Major Cooper, of the Imperial Forces, and now engaged on staff duty in Otago. The inquiry will be open to the Press. The Court Martial on Lieutenant-Col-onel Turner will be held shortly, but the .personnel is not yet announced.
