CADET TRAINING.
SPECIALIST WORK NOT TO BE ELIMINATED. STATEMENT BY MINISTER. WELLINGTON, October 20. Replying to a question by Mr. J. Hargest in the House of Representatives to-day, the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) said it was not intended that all specialist work should be eliminated from cadet training in secondary schools. In addition, it was intended to enlarge the syllabus of physical training.—-(P.A.)
