WELLINGTON WINS CARVED BOWL. \

ROTORUA, September 6. Wellington on Saturday won the Kurungaituku earved bowl trophy at the Rotorua Basketball Association’s annual open tournament, in which 18 teams this year participated. Wellington snatched victory from Matamata A.

In the last two minutes of the game, one Wellington player, M. Morton, suffered a fractured bone in the arm when she fell heavily.—(P.A.)
