FORGERY BY HIGH COURT OFFICIAL. FOUR AND A HALF YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. (Received Monday, 7.40 p.m.) MELBOURNE, October 5. Seaforth MacKenzie, principal Registrar of the High Court of Australia, was sentenced to four and a half years’ imprisonment, in the Criminal Court to-day, on charges of forging the Great Seal of the High Court and forging a document issuable from the Court. MacKenzie w r as found guilty by a jury last week.
