TABLE TENNIS.
TE ORE ORE TEAM TO PLAY CATHOLIC CLUB. The following is the Te Ore Ore Table Tennis Club’s team to play the Catholic Club at the Catholic Club tonight: —Misses E. Greig, N. Morris, J. Greig, M. Rimene, E. Morris, J. Simpson; Messrs W. Greig, A. Sanson, R. Morris, R. Wilson, L Morris, D. McGregor. Emergencies: Miss A. McDonald, Mr. R. Percy. CATHOLIC CLUB TEAMS. The following are the Catholic Club table tennis teams to play to-night:— A team to play Te Ore Ore: Misses M. Carter, K. Wickens, P. Hogan, M. Meikle, A. Keisenberg and Mrs N. Carrie; Messrs L. Gleeson, R. Cross, E. Reilly, J. McDonald, L. McCracken and R. Falconer. B team to play Kuripuni: Miss P. Brennan, Mrs R. Cross, Misses M. Dwyer, J. Buckley, K. Cairns and J. Irwin; Messrs K. Johnston, V. Brady, N. Carrie, R. Minett, M. McMullen and M. O ’Connor. Both matches will be played at the Catholic Club rooms, commencing at 7.30. Any member unable to play is asked to notify the secretary immediately. ASSOCIATION MEETING. A meeting of the Wairarapa Table Tennis Association was held on Monday night. The president, Mr. Bliss, presided. Arrangements in connection with the visit of the Hutt team on Saturday next were completed. The match will be played in the Y.M.C.A. rooms and a charge of Is is to be made for spectators (including supper). Mr. Winslade was appointed manager of the team. The secretary reported that the in-ter-club tournament was progressing favourably. Parkvale and Masterton Winter Sports clubs were granted an extension in time of two days to enable them to play their match in the first round.
