OF NEW ZEALAND RESERVE BANK AUSTRALIAN POLICE ACTION. (Received Tuesday, 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 2L Police Headquarters have obtained possession of several forged New Zealand Reserve Bank Notes, the denominations of which have been changed from ten shillings and one pound to ten pounds by the use of aeids and the manipulation of figures. Bank experts Bad the greatest difficulty in detecting the forgeries, but the fact that the New Zealand Reserve Bank ddes not issue ten pound notes left no doubt that somebody had been tampering with the notes and showing an excellent profit. The police have warned tradesfolk in all the States.
