MANY LIVES LOST.
RUSSIAN STEAMER WRECKED ON DESOLATE ISLAND. FOG HAMPERING RESCUE WORK. TOKIO, July 6. Nine hundred Russians, mostly fi.hermen, en route to fishing grounds off Kamchatka aboard the Soviet steamer Cima were wrecked on the desolate island of Onnekotan. It is feared that many lives were lost. Fog is hampering the rescue work and heavy seas are breaking over the vessel.
