NEW SERVICE.
JAPAN TO AUSTRALIA. TOKIO, July 5. The Kokusai shipping line has announced that a new service with three 9,000-ton vessels to Australia via China, the Philippine Islands,: and Singapore, commencing in August, is regarded as indicative of an undercurrent in business circles that the present controversy with Australia will be settled before long.
