McARTHUR CASE.
ACCUSED TO STAND TRIAL. FURTHER CHARGES PENDING. WELLINGTON, July 3. At the conclusion of the hearing of evidence on three further charges against him in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, John William Shaw McArthur, company director, formerly of Auckland, pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence and was committed by Mr. E. D. Mosley to the Supreme Court, for trial. The evidence was similar to that given on the first charge. The hearing of another three charges will commence on Monday.—(P.A.) ,
