PARK FERNERY.

IMPROVEMENTS PRACTICALLY COMPLETED. CYCLAMEN AND BEGONIAS OBTAINED. The improvements to the Masterton Fernery, stated Mr. H. E. Gardner list night at a meeting of the Masterton Beautifying Society, had been practically completed. The borough council had obtained cyclamen and begonias, he stated, for which pots were required. The society decided to purchase the necessary pots up to a value of £5. Mr. Gardner ad*ded that he was obtaining, additional ferns for placing in the fernery.

The improvements consist principally of a new iron roof.
