Mr. F. Dyer, the local school teacher has received notice of his transfer to the staff of the Clyde Quay School in Wellington. He expects to take up his duties there after the end of the present term.

Miss Elaine McNulty had the misfortune to fall from a pony on Friday last and fractured her right arm. She was attended to by Dr. Cowie and is progressing favourably.
