OBITUARY.
MR. EDWARD SIDNEY JENKINS. The death occurred at Auckland yesterday of Mr. Edward Sidney Jenkins, aged 63, after a short illness. The late Mr. Jenkins, who was a resident of Pajrakura, was admitted to hospital earlier in the day. Born at Belfast, he had resided for 43 years in New Zealand, and for the period from 1902 to 1922 was a resident of Masterton, where he was well-known as a veterinary surgeon and farmer. While here he was closely connected with many sports and other bodies and was a member of the Masonic fraternity. He is survived by a widow and family of five, three daughters, Mesdames Churcher (Taneatua) and Stephens i(olevedon) and Miss Audrey Jenkins (Papakura), and two sons, Messrs Gordon (Melbourne) and John E. Jenkins (Masterton). The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to the bereaved relatives in their loss.
