UNITED STATES TOUCHES NEW FIGURES. (Received Thursday, 7.30 pun.) WASHINGTON, June 17. A 1 Treasury statement of June 15 reveals a record public debt of 34,331,355,000 dollars, compared with 28,700,000,000 at June 15, 1935. The financing of the veterans’ bonus is partly responsible for the increase.
