RETURN VOYAGE ACROSS ATLANTIC. 1855 PASSENGERS ABOARD. DEPARTURE FROM NEW YORK RUGBY, June 6. The liner Queen Mary left New ' York on her first west-to-east Atlantic crossing yesterday with 1855 passengers aboard. She passed the Ambrose Light at 6 p.m., British Summer Tithe. The record time for the journey from this point to Bishop’s Rock, Seilly Isles, is 4 days 3 hours 28 minutes, established by the French liner Normandie, and to beat that record the Queen Mary must reach Bishop’s Boek before 9.28 p.m. on Tuesday.
