GERMAN NAVY.
SOME DETAILS OF CUEBENT STRENGTH. NUMEROUS VESSELS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. BERLIN, May 17. A Naval Gazette shows that Germany possesses three armoured ships, the Deutschland, the Admiral Scheer, and the Admiral Graf Spee; six cruisers, the Emden, the Konigsberg, the Karlsruhe, the Koln, the Leipzig, and the Nuremberg; nineteen torpedoboats, nineteen submarines, a submarine mother ship, three naval tenders, 49 mine-sweepers, seven gunnery training ships, and the old battleships Hannover, Schlesien, and SchleswigHolstein.
Vessels under construction are two battleships replacing the Elsass and the Hessen, three cruisers, sixteen destroyers, seventeen submarines, seven naval tenders, and four mine-sweepers.
