TRADE REVIVAL.

IRON & STEEL INDUSTRY. RUGBY, February 12. A remarkable revival in the iron and steel trades is again evident in the production figures for January. Production of pig iron in the United Kingdom amounted to 595,000 tong compared with 559,300 tons in December and 521,200 tons in January, 1935. Production of steel ingots and eastings last month amounted to 912,500 tons, compared with 811,500 tons in December and 757,800 tons in January, 1935.— (British Official Wireless).
