PONGAROA SALE.

Messrs Dalgety & Co. Ltd. report having had a fair yarding of sheep at the Fongaroa Sale yesterday: There was a good attendance of buyers including representatives from Dannevirke, Pahiatua and Masterton. A total clearance was effected. It was the first sdle of the season and indications for good prices were in evidence. They report the following sales: Good 2-th wethers to 21/7; good b.f. rape lambs to 17/6; w.f. wether lambs to 16/6; smaller b.f. lambs 12/7 to 14/-; small m.s. lambs to 10/-; 15-mos p.a. heifers to £3/15/.
