BRISK BIDDING REPORTED. LONDON, October 1. Wool submitted at the sales to-day was 9121 bales, including 5131 New Zealand. About 6780 bales of Australian and New Zealand wools were sold. There were a number of withdrawals, chiefly of slipes. Brisk Continental and Bradford bidding prevailed. New Zealand scoured merinos, “Haldon,” made 23d highest, 21 7-8 average. Greasy crossbred, “N” in circle, made DJd. highest, with an average of Bd.
