MUTUAL INSURANCE.
WAIRARAPA AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION. The annual. meeting of the Wairarapa Automobile Association Mutual Insurance Company was held in Featherston bn Tuesday night. Mr. W. Benton presided over a good attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, Mr. Benton stated that the year had been most satisfactory. The sum of over £5OO had been distributed to members as cash bonus on their premium payments. The accumulated funds of the company represented a reserve which made the position very sound and strong. The two retiring directors, Messrs H. Lawson and H. E. Jackson, were re-elected unopposed. Mr. Chas. W. Ritchie was re-elected auditor, the remuneration to be the same as last year, The directors’ fees and chairman’s honorarium were fixed the same as last year. The secretary Mr. N. C. C. Shepperd was complimented on his services.
