Offerings at the‘London wool sales were 6932 hales, including 3778 bales New Zealand. About 5470 bales of Australian, and New Zealand wools ■were sold. Active Jlome and Continental competition prevailed, and full rates were maintained. New Zealand, greasy merinos, “Rand Company” over “T,” made 22d per lb. highest and Slid average. Greasy half bred, “Mont Alto” sold 14Jd highest and 13Jd average. Greasy crossbred, “Taurimu” sold 9Jd highest and 9 l-8d average. The Bradford tops market for merinos is barely steady; cut crossbreds are firm at full rates.
