TUG MISSING.

MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE IN SYDNEY HARBOUR. MAY HAVE SUNK AT MOORINGS. (Received Thursday, 7.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 8. Mystery surrounds the disappearance of the tug Kooti, which was moored last night beside the collier Kiama, in Walsh Bay, Sydney. When her men arrived for work this morning they were unable to locate the Kooti. The weight of opinion was that she was at the bottom of the harbour, but there is no definite proof that she sank. Except for a patch of oil the water was <fTear, •but to penetrate a depth of 35 feet was beyond the searchers’ eyes.

VESSEL FOUND. AT BOTTOM OF HARBOUR. (Received Thursday, 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 8. A diver has located the tug Koori, sunk at her moorings, in forty feet of water.
