CONCERT AT KURIPUNI.
ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT. A pleasant evening’s entertainment was provided in the Church of the Epiphany Hall last night when a concert was staged in aid of the church mission funds. The programme, which was arranged by Mrs. E. J. Rich and the Rev. J. E. Jones, proved thoroughly enjoyable. The items were as follow:—Play reading, “No Servants;” the parts being taken by Mrs. Rich, Misses N. and M. McEwen, D. Kemp, B. Coleman and the Bev. J. E[ Jones; songs, Mr. William C. Mann and -the Rev. J. E. Jones; play, “Women at War,” by St. Matthew’s Old Girls (winner? at the recent Wairarapa Drama League Festival); humorous sketch, “Wanted a Cook,” by St. Matthew’s Girls’ Club. Supper was provided by the Church of the Epiphany Ladies’ Guild and the Rev. E. J. Rich expressed thanks to the contributors to the programme and all who assisted.
